Divine Message on Sri Guru Pornima by
H. H. Sadguru Sri Sai Narayan Baba

Blessed are those who have their ‘Sadguru’ within. The inner Guru is immortal and eternal, who ever guides his devotees to attain ‘Self-realisation’ which is the only goal of human life. Such a Sadguru takes care of his devotees as Brahma the creator, Vishnu the sustainer and Rudra the conqueror of death.
The Sadguru is like a divine flower who disseminates/emits the Atmic aroma of divinity in his world and thus proclaims the immortal Lord who is invisible to the physical eyes. He is the standing witness to the Supreme Self, the counter-part of the Lord on earth who carefully guards, guides and protects his devotees. Through worship of him, one attains the immortal Self within.
It is through the means of such a Sadguru that an imperfect becomes perfect, the finite becomes infinite and the mortal becomes immortal. The best form of worshipping one’s Guru is to follow his teachings unconditionally.
Sri Guru Pournima well known as ‘Sri Vyasa Pournima’ or Ashadi Pournima which is celebrated in the month of July-August all over the world, particularly by the Hindu community gives us an opportunity to receive Guru’s Grace, in abundance, to make our mortal life spiritually purposeful. On this auspicious day, devotees invoke the spirit of Guru Vyasa the Sadguru of all Gurus and undertake a rigorous spiritual ‘Kalpa-Vaas’ for a period of 4 months ‘Chaaturmaas’ living a secluded life mostly spending in meditation, scriptural studies and satsang in a place of pilgrimage.
May the Supreme Guru of Gurus, (who is worshipped by different names & in different forms) protect us, guide us & enable us to attain the spiritual goal of our rare human life.
